How to describe your personality

June 14, 2020

I tried to study Japanese a little everyday, but I couldn't keep up. I'm a lazy person who gets tired of things easily.
Mainichi sukoshizutsu nihongo o benkyou shiyou to shita kedo tuzukanakatta. Boku wa akishou de (or akippokute) namakemono da.
Meg is complaining about her work.

  • Meg : My boss always gives me a lot of tasks. I often have to work overtime. I'm jealous of Ken because he delegates his tasks to someone and doesn't do anything himself.
  • Amy : I think you have a strong sense of responsibility and you're reliable, but you're too serious. I think that you need to become more sly like him!
Meg wa shikkari shiteiru(or sekininkan ga tsuyokute, tayorigai ga aru) yo. Motto, Ken mitaku zurugashikoku naranakya!
Meg and Amy are talking about what kind of guys they like.

  • Meg : I'm looking for a guy who is good looking, smart, funny and down-to-earth.
Kakko(u)yokute, atama ga yoku te,omoshiroku te,chi ni ashi no tsuita hito ga iina.
  • Amy : Are you really still looking for that? It's none of my business, but I don't know anyone like that.
Mada, sonnakoto o itte iru no? Yokei na osekkai(or osewa) kamo shirenai kedo, sonna hito mita koto nai yo.
  • Meg : You're so mean. You are so sharp-tongued!
Ijiwaru. Amy wa karakuchi nannda kara!
Ken is talking to Leo about the woman he is interested in.

  • Ken : Sara is really cute!
Sara tte maji de ii yona!
  • Leo : She is pretty, but she looks unapproachable. And she seems like she doesn't like playboys like you.
Bijin dakedo, chikayorigatai. Omae mitaina asobinin wa suki jyanai darou.
  • Ken : Huh, do you think I really don't stand a chance?
  • Leo : I don't think you do, but do what you like. I, however, like older women who are mature and caring.
